Game summary

What Nuffle takes, Nuffle gives. The game opposed the two head teams of group D and promised to be very engaged. Indeed, in the very first minutes, Enggoth Sagerock, the star Wardancer, managed to kill one of the Cuddly's beastmen runners (but he got better). The elves, who were receiving, then proceeded to score quickly. The rest of the turn was a slow chaos grind towards the TD line. The Soft and cuddlies managed to score, but failed to maim. 1-1 at half time, with the Chaos receiving, one could hardly see any other result than a victory for Soft and Cuddly. Alas for them, Nuffle granted a blitz to the woodies, quickly leading to a 2-1 score. The Cuddlies started grinding again, hoping for a tie, especially as they had managed to stun quite a few elves. The wardancers finally caught on them, and managed to knock down the ball carrier twice, but could not take control of the ball, and Chaos scored in turn 8, with three woodies (including a wardancer) KO'd and one badly hurt. Nothing seemed to be able to deprive them of their halfling victory. Alas for them, Nuffle definitely favoured the woodies. He granted them a reroll and brought back their three KO'd players. And then, everything went quickly. Enggoth Sagerock blitzed a Chaos Blocker in a hole, Bregalad pushed him back, pushing Lorcaelyn Lichenlake at the same time. Then Daggael Riverbrook brought the poor blocker to his knees, giving a final push to Lorcaelyn. Elladan picked up the ball, put himself in position, passed to Lorcaelyn, who managed to catch despite a beastman's tentatives. Then Lorcaelyn dodged once, tripped but caught himself, dodged a second time, tripped again but got caught thanks to Nuffle's reroll, dodged a third time, a fourth, and then sprinted again, again and again, scoring the decisive touchdown.
